Tour of the National Heritage Listed Qantas Hangar

Do you want to find out about a Heritage Listed site, the founders of our iconic Airline, history of Qantas or what materials were used to build aircraft? If so, this is the tour for you! There is no better way to celebrate the 100th Year of Qantas than hearing about the history of the airline and exploring the National Heritage Listed Qantas Hangar including the DH-50 and DH61 with one of Qantas Founders Museum's experienced tour guides.

The Museum tells the story of Qantas from the early days in Outback Queensland to present day. Displays focus on the founding figures of Qantas, life in Outback Queensland in the 1920s and the advancement and impact of aviation in Australia and the world.

The tour of the National Heritage Listed Qantas Hangar will run for 45 minutes every Monday to Friday throughout Heritage Month. This is an experience you do not want to miss!
