Join authors Melanie Myers (Meet me at Lennon’s) and Judy Powell (The Brisbane Line) in conversation with noted Queensland historian Raymond Evans as they describe life in Brisbane in the 1940s when the city was overflowing with American troops and the huge social changes that occurred as a result of the American occupation.
Melanie and Judy will discuss how this changed Brisbane and how these changes still reverberate today and influenced the narratives of their novels.
