Moreton Bay History Seminar

Guest speakers include Dr Margaret Cook, Dr Jennifer Harrison and Ben Gall exploring this year's Australian Heritage Festival theme of "Our Heritage for the Future".

Dr Jennifer Harrison investigates stories of arrival in the 1860s of migrants from across the world as they reached the exciting and unknown destination of Moreton Bay.

Heritage specialist, Ben Gall discusses the importance of identifying and protecting places of archaeological significance in the Moreton Bay region.

The seminar also features stalls from historical societies and museums, a VR display and tool-knapping demonstration.

Free. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided. Bookings required.
