Laidley Heritage Day

The day will showcase the history of people of the Lockyer Valley region and will provide opportunities for visitors to experience and learn about bygone crafts such as blacksmithing, woodworking, sheep shearing, old machinery eg tractors and equipment.

See Daisy the cow and Jalo the horse, highland dance troop, local musicians, big breakfast and all day food, with tea & coffee available for purchase on the day.

Visitors will have opportunities to view the extensive displays of memorabilia and artefacts at the Laidley Pioneer & Museum. An amazing indigenous mural showcasing nearby Narda Lagoon and connections to country is painted on the wall of one of our buildings.
