National Trust Trees of Significance - City Botanic Gardens

Since its founding as a Botanic Reserve in 1855, the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens has flourished as a site of cultural and botanical prominence with many rare and unusual plants. The National Trust Register of Significant Trees has listed 37 trees of National, State or Regional importance in these gardens. Come and witness some of these beautiful trees and find out what makes them so significant led by City Botanic Gardens Volunteer Guides.

Requirements:

This walk includes moderate physical activity, including walking slightly longer distances, up gentle slopes and stairs or walking on some uneven surfaces. Some standing periods for guide explanations but no sitting.

Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
